Riverside Pub
I have my Shirley Temple, it rests next to me;
From where I sit, the bright moonlight I see;
Across the river, buildings stand proudly;
Their lights in reflections, very very lovely;
Several metres away, some people are dancing;
I am here in the corner, just writing and writing;
The atmosphere gets warmer, more people arrive;
At first tired and dying, slowly they start to jive;
Over at the counter, bartenders get busy;
A flip and a toss, they make it seem so easy;
As the night wears off, there is a change in mood;
People are leaving, they don\'t feel good;
Hence, my drink I finish, my pens I keep;

Descriptions of my Life
Cry, Cry, Cry
out in pain
out in rage
Cry, Cry, Cry
for me
for yourself
Cry, Cry, Cry
for the world
for the child
Cry, Cry, Cry
for all the hurt
for all the anger
Cry, Cry, Cry
for all those lost
for all those found
Cry, Cry, Cry
so that you voice rises up
like a belmoth driven by pain
so that your cry can overcome
all your hurt
all your pain
all your rage
Cry, Cry, Cry
raise your voice
and cry
for those who\'ve discovered drugs
for those who\'ve discovered sex
for those who\'ve discovered money
for those who\'ve discovered
death, life, joy, love
Cry, Cry, Cry
cry till your voice is lost
Cry, Cry, Cry
till
Scream out loud
Until no-one hears your
Endless agitation
Reach its peak
He opened his eyes today
Saw all that he\'d never
Noticed before
Breathe in deep
And show them all you\'re
Better than they ever
Thought you\'d be
He closed his mouth for once
Heard all the things he
Had always ignored
Kicked down again
They told you all your

You wasted it all
He spoke his mind today
Said all every word he had

Take it all out on
Inanimate objects
Inside of your dungeon
Your room, cold and dark
He finally drew his curtains
Looked out at the world
That he\'d never seen
Take in one deep breath

Around we go,
The merry-go-round isn\'t so merry anymore
When angry words were really a
Cheap trick to try to change
The coordination of the conversation.
To bad the thorns,
Of that pretty rose,
So readily reawake the rhythm
Of the bloodstream while swimming
In salt solution of the sea,
And then you drown in the emotion of it all.
So wistfully wanting to take the thorny words
Back after the blessed and bloody
Situation has settled.
And so you gloomfully go on,
Always awaiting an opportunity
To correct the conversations that
Gypped your dreams
Of you and she.
Optimistic of Pessimistic?

I am washing away this skin - starting anew.
I will miss many, and may be missed by few,
But that is the world I leave for you.
I am sorry to those who
On me they count.
But I will have a new account.
If you stumble upon me someday
Please do not hesitate to stay.
Friends will be welcome, even informed
But to those I run from be warned
I will put not up with you bull any more.
